Sorcerertech's Privacy Policy

We think privacy is absolutely important for all users. This privacy policy is here to tell you exactly what kind of data we collect. It's not a lot - I don't believe in collecting user data when you don't need to. However, we still do collect some data, and that is why this Privacy Policy is here.

Effective Date: March 1, 2019

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for Sorcerertech and our website; https://stch.tk This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website, except where stated otherwise. It will notify you of the following:

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

In the provision of our services, we are the sole owners of the data you give us. The data is not transferred nor accessible to other companies, except where required for the provision of the service.

In the provision of support through electronic mail (or E-Mail), we use software from Yandex LLC and Freshworks Inc., specifically Freshdesk. In the provision of support through live chat on our website, we use software from Freshworks Inc., specifically Freshchat. Any data you provide through these mediums may be accessible to Freshworks Inc. Similarly, in the provision of support through Discord Inc.'s chat application (or Discord), Discord may collect data on you and will have access to this data. We encourage you to read Freshwork's Privacy Notice and Discord's Privacy Policy. If you wish to transfer sensitive information, we recommend you either use Keybase, which utilises end-to-end encryption meaning that Keybase cannot see the information you send us, or some other form of encryption.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy. You can explicitly opt out of these emails by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "opt-out". We will reply to you asking what you wish to opt out of.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address at the bottom of this document:

Please note that it can take up to 90 business days, and in some very rare cases you may be charged a small fee.

Registration

It is not a requirement to register for our website, however specific activities may require registration. You will be asked to give an email, a username and a password at minimum. Your username and email may be used to contact you about products or services that we have, or to contact you about specific things relating to products or services you have expressed an interest in. Your password is stored using a secure salted hash and is practically irretrievable, however you should follow good security practice. We recommend a password at least 8 characters long, with a capital letter and a symbol.

Orders

For ordering items, you will be asked for contact information and you may also be asked for financial information - in some cases, including cryptocurrency payments, you may not be asked for the information, but you will need to provide it in some other means (for example, a cryptocurrency transaction will result in you providing us with your cryptocurrency address) in order to complete the transaction.

When you are asked for financial information, we do not collect this data ourselves. We use our payments partner, Stripe Inc., whose privacy policy can be found at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy#.

The data you provide is all collected for billing purposes, and in order to fulfill your orders. If there's any issues, we'll use the information to contact you.

Analytics

We use a secure, in-house installation of Matomo for analytics during the use of our service. We store the following pieces of information on our own hardware while you browse our site:

We don't share personally identifiable information with anyone, ever. The only thing we may share is general, anonymous information such as page views from particular countries etcetera. The only people that will see all this information is Sorcerertech.

We also understand completely if you don't want this data to be collected. We honour Do Not Track requests, however if you don't want to mess around in your browser settings, you can also opt out below.

Sharing

Occasionally, you may see advertising on our services. Where you see this, we are sharing information with our partners and advertisers, including Google AdSense. We do not like sharing our data with Google, and are constantly searching for an alternative. We do not use any other Google service.

Where products require shipping, we will use an outside shipping company to ship orders. As mentioned before, we use Stripe, a credit card processing company, to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.

We may also partner with another party to provide specific services. We will only ever provide the bare minimum of information to these parties for the provision of the service, but we may be forced to provide contact information, names and other data in some circumstances. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

One really important way we do this is using Transport Layer Security - this encrypts your traffic from your device to our reverse-proxy provider, Cloudflare. From the Cloudflare datacenter on, your data is still protected under TLS, all the way to our own server. Cloudflare uses certificates signed by COMODO CA Limited, and we use certificates signed by Let's Encrypt. At no point is your data ever transmitted over the internet unencrypted.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

Some of our business partners, including advertisers and Cloudflare, may use cookies on our site. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites.
